The Coach and Horses – Fine Food and Cask Ales in a friendly Cheshire Pub

Public House in Cheshire

Welcome to The Coach and Horses – a historic country public house set within beautiful Cheshire countryside with amazing views over the Cheshire plains. The Coach and Horses is affectionately known locally as “The Fair House”  as the local fair took place at this location in the 19th century. The pub has a friendly atmsopshere and is frequented by countryside ramblers, visitors to the area and of course the local ‘regulars’.

The pub is run by Carol and Mike McCann who took over from the previous tenants in November 2014. Mike and Carol are committed to serving the finest cask ales, wines and locally sourced food on their frequently changing seasonal menu.

The public house depends on the support of local people, so in return Mike and Carol source as many ingredients as they can from farms and businesses close to the pub.

Lunch is now served 7 days a week from Noon until 3pm and evening meals on Saturdays ans Sundays.

Pizza’s are made in our new recently installed pizza oven and are available 7 days a week from Noon until 11pm (Have a drink in the bar while you wait for them to bake!)

On Sunday’s we serve our famous ‘Sunday Lunch’ with a choice of roast meats, home made Yorkshire puddings and ‘all the trimmings’. Just £9.95 per person
